Light gold; phenolic, alcholic aroma; smooth maltiness, alcoholic warmth, sweetness, pepper. Much simpler in palate than its bigger brother, IMO.

Slightly cloudy, light orange appearance. Yeast, spice and a tart impression in the nose. Body is slightly tart, nicely spiced and finishes refreshingly hoppy. One of the better brews from our tasting. Nice work here.

Hard to find this one. I had pleasure to rate this beer as no 500. Josh O. shared with us during Iron Liver VI. Nice head, thick with small bubbles. Very nice fruity aroma that was really friendly for my nose. Ahh, good! Nice feel, light cream, yeast, end decently bitter.

A Duvel stripped off its character. Not too bland, but its aroma’s and flavors due to the ripening in the bottle have sadly disappeared. Always choose the red!

Pale gold under a small short lasting head with some lacing. Faint fruity and fermenting grainy yeast. It reminds me a bit of a strong wheat beer more than a strong Belgian. Medium strong bitter and faint sweet palate. Quite boring and characterless really, especially compared to regular Duvel.

Very pale yellow in colour, the head isn’t as good as the normal Duvel, but still OK, nice floral aroma, appley fruit on the palte, with a nice bitter finish, slight yeasty character, pretty nice.
