Very light yellow, small white head. Light hoppy aroma, some alcohol, soft grain, some sweetness. Nice taste - strong alcohol, more hops, more sweetness, yeast. Interesting - tasty but subdued. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA

Sweet yeasty aroma. flaovr was yeasty with some interesting herbal notes. Not a bad beer, but I’d rather just drink normal Duvel all the time. blankboy (3239), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Pours a clear yellow with an average size lasting foamy white head. Aroma’s sweet and yeasty along with light spicy hops. Flavour’s slightly sweet with yeast, grain, sweet malt and alcohol. Dry finish. Average bodied. Compared to regular Duvel it’s just O.K. but on it’s own it’s a good beer. jacobwennbom (274), Uppsala, Sweden
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 12, 2008 Not bad. LIke a wheat almost with a citric sweet taste and a fruity smell. Banaish is a (made up) word that comes to mind. Almost no bitterness at all. Looks good too, golden with white head (that does not last very long though). Nice. jerc (3950), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Dry moderately alcoholic aroma, floral and baking flour notes. over sweetish pale malt. (6+) Similar flavour, dry alcohol weaved with sweeter pale malt, light bitterness throughout. (6+) Average palate. Shows potential at times, but overall its just a touch dull. Bottle from Bier Tempel, Brugge, shared with Mabel screwball (802), Motala, Sweden
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Bottle. A pale clear golden body. White small lasting head. Aroma is moderat and nice. It has banana, yeast ans hops. Flavor is fresh hopy, yeasty and has marmelad. I like this better than the red Duvel. That is to peppry and carbonated. dj (422), Gloucestershire, England

Taste is caramel an homey with a fair bit of spice and a hint of malt. A slight citrus hint in the finish. Alcohol somewhat more noticeable than regular Duvel, I think. Moderate carbonation. A really tasty brew. JoeinUccle (911), Brussels, Belgium

From bottle at Belga Cafe in Brussels. Pours clear, bright, sparkling gold with fluffy white head. Moderately sweet, honey-like, grainy nose. Flavor is moderately sweet, bubbling into mild bitterness. Crisp. Good balance. Less sweet, bitter and warming than regular Duvel. Pretty refreshing for its abv. Nice beer.
