I finally got around to rating this after a few previous experiences. I don’t know how it has slipped through the cracks; this is a fabulous beer on par with other gems like Orval. Easily affordable and accessible it represents the prefect gateway to turn people on to the potential of what beer can be.
Aroma / Appearance - A strong floral blend mixes with the grass cuttings to leap from the glass. A foamy white head was stubborn in collapsing but eventually gave up. What was left was a golden liquid the color of the rising sun.
Flavor / Palate - Lemony with a twist of hops and citrus the combination goes smoothly down the throat. Gentle on the palate it leaves a pleasant aftertaste like a warm summer evening. The alcohol does eventually make itself known as it warms to room temperature but this is virtually perfect.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bottled. Prominent white head. You can tell the sweetness from the aroma. Flavour is fruity, yeasty, and sweet. Little to no spices. You can either like or dislike this beer, but it is a terrific and very well made one. It flows nicely and you can feel the class in every zip. SpencerDB (127), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 31, 2009 A damn good beer. I read through some of the other reviews and I agree with the comments on the head lasting annoyingly long and there being alot of carbonation, but I really think this is a great tasting beer. The taste is a bit fruity, and it makes me think of a highly carbonated tripel. improvjock (105), Namegata-shi, Ibaraki-ken, Japan
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy light-honey color with big fluffy white head. Hint of banana in the aroma. Wheat and fine Belgian yeasts in the flavor. Smooth at first, with a bit of bitterness in the finish. Pretty good. Ibrew2or3 (2833), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 30, 2009 About time to finally get this 33cL bottle reviewed. It pours pure clear gold with full near fluffy white head. This is pretty much a perfect looking beer. The aroma is coriander mixing with apples, pears and a touch of sweet maltiness. The taste begins crisp and a bit bright with Belgian yeasty spices, coriander and sweet ripe green apples. Those notes tend to bleed into pears and apricots. It gets a bit spicy into the finish with Belgian yeastiness. Solid Brew! elgiacomo (101), Chickamauga, Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2009 330ml bottle poured into Duvel glass. Yellow in color with a huge, frothy, rocky white head that seems to last forever. All sorts of sticky lacing, a very attractive beer. Aroma is belgian yeast, and fruity, pears, green apples, some banana, some spice. Flavor is fruity and yeasty with some spice, smooth going down, somewhat lively carbonation. Not my favorite style, but still a very nice beer.
