Pours a pale yellow color with an enormous easily aggrivated head that foams over the glass. Nose is mild with touch of grass and pale malts. Initial taste is grainy, fruit, banana, and spice. Palate is average. Head retention is excellent.

Best by 11/2012, so I’m guessing bottled in 11/2007. Beautiful golden color with a huge head. Toasty aromatics on the light nose. Balanced palate that goes down incredibly smooth. Like a less bitter and higher alcohol Stella Artois. Very nice.

11.2 oz bottle served in a Duvel glass. Pours a hazy light yellow color with a huge very long lasting white head. It has a very clean aroma of hops. It tastes wonderful. It has a definite creamy quality and tastes a bit of hay and citrus. This beer is truly great. I look forward to drinking this again.

Dense white foamy head (pour VERY carefully; even a perfect pour can backfire on you with this beer). Cloudy but paradoxically iridescent gold brew. Tart apple nose and attack, hint of nut; delightful fresh yeast. Musky hop finish reminiscent of quality cognac. Delightfully clean and consistent taste that finishes much as it began. Alcoholic punch is not immediately obvious. One of the best beers I’ve had the pleasure of drinking.

bubbly gold with a good head, aroma is sweet and complicated, the taste is sweet malt with some citrus and bitter, very, very, good, it’s a bit lively though, have a glass ready.

Bottle served in a tulip. Clear pale gold in color with a huge pillowy white head that has great retention. The foamy lacing would last if I let it, but I chose to quaff this tasty treat. Aroma is classic belgian. Bubblegum, fresh banana, wet hay, and light malt. Light-medium body with lively carbonation. Flavor is fruity with an impressive oily and creamy mouthfeel. This is a complex brew that finishes sticky sweet, oily, then slightly bitter.

Refigerated bottle poured into a trappist chalice. Pours a gleaming yellow with dense bright white persistent fluffy head and nice lacing. Highly carbonated, but still enjoyable. Aroma is citrus with a touch of hops. Nice fruity taste, but has a sour aftertaste that I don’t enjoy. Pretty drinkable for the ABV.

Golden yellow with a thick and persistent head. Lots of lovely lace. Aroma of lemon, grapefruit, and hay. Flavor is a light but snappy hop bitterness. It doesn’t linger too long on the palate, but leaves you feeling refreshed. Lively carbonation and a lightly astringent finish make this a pleasure to drink.

Big foamy head that lasts a long time. Nice golden color. Nice bitterness and a slight sourness. Too much bubbles for my taste.
