0.33l bottle in newcastle area.
Golden ale with huge foamy white head, typical belgian look. I’ve tried this beer three times now to see if it grows on me, and each time I don’t like it. Smell and taste are harsh, alcoholic and yeasty. Very little balance, the alcohol and yeast seem to overpower anything else. Not great.

Sep 6, 2008 Wonderfully aromatic with hints of honey, lemon and elderflower. Surprisingly sweeter than i expected. Wow this is the daddy. Definately have Sympathy for te Duvel!

Sep 5, 2008 Pours yellow-gold with abundant white head. Nice clean citrus flavors with bright carbonation. Goes from malt to hops, with a warm lingering alcohol. Refreshing AND strong, a fairly unique combination.

Sep 5, 2008 Pours a big white head colour is light yellow. Aroma i fruity, lemonlike smells a bit like parfume there is also aroma of malt. flavour is acidic and rather dry the presence of the alcohol is clear and there is biterness at the end. Carbonation is plentiful which adds to this beers refreshing quality.
