Clean golden, very thin head. Sweet fresh light tinned fruit aroma, remarkably not too ginger dominant. Sweet palate with a reasonablestrong drying ginger blast. This is equally good as a summer thirst quencher or in the spa on a mid winters night.

Apr 7, 2008 It doesn’t look or smell like much but I’m easy to please when it comes to ginger beer. This one has a nice bite (like my home made soft version) with the added bonus of a bit of booze. Not at all like the cheap stuff in big plastic bottles. The dux is always on my list if I go to Chch.

Jan 26, 2008 (On tap) Clear, golden with a small, off-white head. Fresh, fruity and lightly sweet aroma. Medium body, quite sweet with light citrus notes and a very spicy - almost peppery - ginger note. This really is the hottest ginger beer I’ve ever tasted. Exciting. My thoughts go out to yespr who would’ve loved this... 230108

Jan 16, 2008 I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.
Sampled it at the Dux de Lux in Queenstown. This one is definatly a ginger beer. It’s hard to like for a non-ginger fan. Pretty decent though.
