Appearance is a medium colour gold with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and not that much unlike ginger ale, but less spicy. Flavour is lite, somewhat watered with a hint of soya sauce. Only after I belch do I pick up any notes of ginger.....Hmmm.. CoolerKing (14), Burlington, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Pale yellow colour, slight ginger aroma and taste. Very little head with moderate carbonation, sweet and light. Boutip (2371), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 20, 2005 Aluminium bottle: Poured a clear yellowish ale with a medium white foamy head with good retention. Aroma of light ginger with some malt also noticeable. Taste is surprisingly quite weak with some subtle ginger, weak malt and a watery finish. What a disappointment, absolutely boring… Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 19, 2005 Good old aluminum sud buckets. Pours light gold, little white head. Just a boring lager with a trace amount of ginger. pootzboy (1048), Hawgville, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2005 Updated: Apr 29, 2006Came in the trendoid 33cl Aluminum bottle. Poured into a pilsner flute we see a pale yellow fizzy looking beer with a small white cap that reduced quickly...some lace. Vegetal aromas in the nose, bit of sweetnes and a wisp of ginger spiciness. Very spritzy-dry palate, light bodied beer with hardly detactable malt...it is hopped well and the finish produces a lemony-ginger burst then a clean end with no after taste.
Not bad for its intended market...I suppose probably an upscale, younger, summer patio party, light spritzer drinking throng will embrace this fortified ginger beer in the flash packaging. Radek Kliber (3957), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 16, 2005 Bottled in the most unusual aluminum shape container. Neat in the non traditional way. Gently gingery with sweet malts behind . Lightly bitter front spiced with lemony ginger . Very subtle . Malt rounds up the space . Clean, light and refreshing. Sanchex (223), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 14, 2005 Bottle at Smokeless Joe’s in Toronto. Candied ginger aroma, very little head. Flavours are ginger, citrus, and hint of malt and spice. A little one dimensional but quite good. Suprisingly the metal bottle did impact the beer at all. Cheers! | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 13, 2005 Pale yellow with a medium white head that quickly disappears. Aroma and flavour are basically ginger and not much else. I love most ginger drinks (ginger ale, Caribbean ginger beer, ginger tea...), so I found it fairly pleasant and refreshing as a beverage, but considering it in beer terms, it’s not too impressive - the ginger masks any beer-like qualities that might be there.
