Malty beer, with a good body strength, medium sweet but with a strong bitterness (of pretty good quality). One of the best common beers in France. shrubber85 (3014), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2005 Corked bottle. A distinct quinine aroma. Clear amber color with small head. Initially a sweet malt aroma with a bitter quinine finish. Like tonic water. KimmoS (51), Finland

Refreshing, I would not mind having this on a hot day. I can’t taste any alcohol. Sweet after taste. Pernille (518), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 25, 2005 Wow! Interesting. Is this really apple-beer or does it just taste and smell of it? It’s almost like a mix of cider and beer. It’s quite sophisticated, and Carl even thinks it’s like champagne with soft bubbles! wnhay (722), Princeton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 19, 2005 Nice stuff. Poured golden with a thin white head. Aroma was fruity and had a touch of butterscotch. Taste was very pleasant. I’ll have to try this again because I have only sampled it so far. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
