Jan 27, 2009 50cl can from Leclerc. Gold with a dense cream head; light malt aroma; sweet malt flavours, spritzy mouth feel; slightly spicy finish. Alcohol well hidden. Very nice.

Dec 29, 2008 25.4oz bottle-pours a foamy off white head that dissipates to patchy and amber color. Aroma is sweet light malt, green apple. Taste is sweet light malt, sugary, green apple, champagney, some spice hops, yeast. Lots of effervescence. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

Dec 27, 2008 Updated: Dec 29, 2008btl jcwattsrugger. Amber pour with a hint of orange. A creamy white head and lace. Brown sugar and caramel on the nose. Semi sweet malt and a light finishing bitter and yeasty as well. Full slick body with good carbonation. Very solid offering a very light hint of abv as well.

Decent amber color, fast fading head. Good amber malt aroma, slightly roasted and dry. A bit nutty. Taste is very dry, hoppy, with really good roasted malt taste. A great amber flavor. Grassy, earthy. A dry finish that last quite a long time. Really good. Medium body and carbonation. Interesting.

Dec 8, 2008 Amber with a two inch white head. Good amount of lacings. Aroma is figs, sweet malts.
Taste is sweet malts, figs, some hops, alcohol.
Mouthfeel is good and marginally sessionable due to the high abv.

Nov 27, 2008 Red-amber with a very short lived nicotine yellow head. It smells quite boozy with wafts of caramel malts. Quite sweet and fruity with a rounded caramel flavour. Something of plums and dates in it as well. Very smooth, quite oily and well-carbonated. A little sterile or chemically tasting like a dentists or a lab of some kind but drinkable none the less.
