| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 22, 2007 750mL bottle, 2002 I believe. Poured medium orange with a lovely initial cap of creamy off-white head that receded to a fine film. Right out of the bottle, this had a dry, dusty aroma without much other character... opened up to reveal spiked oranges (screwdrivers come to mind), sweet candy, and caramel... floral accents. Flavor had a thick, dusty caramel base with orange candy sweetness emanating outward.. floral notes and alcohol inter-laced through there.. tasty and sweet.. a tad cloying, though. Rather thick on the palate with a decent flow.. just gets caught up a bit at the finish. Enjoyed it. FrankJohansen (3370), Århus-Randers Crew, Denmark
