Commercial Description:
In 1991, the brewery decided to revive an old custom harking back to the 14th century when there were no means of refrigeration. Beer was then traditionally brewed in early December and stored over the winter under naturally cool conditions. The first barrels were only opened in March, as the days started to become warmer. It has a fresh, springlike bouquet with dominant tones of malt and grains. It is made using a top fermentation yeast, malted barley and newly harvested Alsation hops. With 5.4% alcohol by volume, it is a pure malt beer that is highly refreshing. It has a fine white head and clear golden colour, a dominant hoppy taste with a hint of fruitiness. Best served between 5 and 6°C.

A very orange pour with a bubbly head. Slightly hoppy and flowery scent. Odd taste, watery, a touch of spice, somethign sweet and honey like. A rather nice mix actually once I got used to it. Very easy drinking.

Pours a transparent bright golden with a clingy-lacing airy white head. Lightly sweet, biscuity pale malty nose has some earthy grassy hop notes. Body starts with a nice light malty sweetness and good body boosted by a finely-dissolved carbonation and lightly bitter balance. Finishes crisp and quite drinkable with a subtle yeasty complexity. A nice Bière de Mars.

Clean golden body with medium white head. Aroma has a strong sharp yeastiness to it and a light grass back aroma. The flavour has a light spice to it the grassiness of the aroma drops off and a light sweet malt coats my tastebuds... leaving me a bit off place in describing it properly... other then to say unusual for myself. Creamy body and nice carbonation. Decent over all.

Clear golden poor with a thin white head. Aromas of honey, apricot, pale malt and hints of citrus. Crisp, dry medium body... nice effervescence. Nicely balanced between bitter and sweet. Nothing extravagent but very enjoyable mouthfeel. Fresh slightly fruity taste and actually very refreshing. A surprise french brew.

Brown Bottle 12oz, LCBO - light orange with a proud white head. Bread & grass aroma, some orange in there too. What an unusual flavour! Grass & champagne, sticky, somewhat lemony too, I initially didn’t like this, but as I get through the bottle, it becomes more agreeable
