Bready sweet aroma, malty, honey and cereal on the nose. Pours very light blonde with a thick white head. Malty sweetness upfront with a spicy yeast quality, some light fruits, finishes malty with a slight dryness. Not bad.

Bottle in Paris, 2006. Slightly dark golden color, clear. Ok head, but not as large as expected. Strong aroma of malt and hops. Malt is main. Sweet flavor with some grass and earthy tones in it, a touch of citrus. Malty but not all that complex. Malt finish. Some alcohol strength but not much hops to speak of. A touch fruity. Ok, a decent blonde somewhat in the Belgian style, and nice enough, but not really all that impressive on first taste. The amber was much nicer.

750 ml bottle. Clear golden color, frothy white head with some lacing. Aroma of sweet spices and hops with some earthy tones. Bright fruity flavor with herbal notes and a touch of alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, but I’m not complaining. Can’t really say how this rates against other examples of the style, but I found it agreeable.

75 cl Bottle. Golden colour, sweet fruity aroma. Taste is also fruity and sweet, but mainly sweet. Very one-dimensional beer, not my style.

Clear golden blond coloured beer with small white head and lots of carbonation. Hoppy spicy aroma. Full palate. Finish is herby and sweet, nicely balanced. Nice one.

Deep orange/pale golden. Aroma is quite boozy and lightly earthy. A little bit spicy and a little bit sweet. The flavour is more integrated than the aroma would suggest. Lightly fruity and a bit clovey. Lightly fruity and honeyish. A little bit earthy and sweet. Soft fruity palate. OK, but it really is a bit too sweet.
