Pours clear medium yellow with a thin white head that lasts. Floral and dough aroma, crisp, fairly light. Sour malts and astringent bitterness in the flavor, with strong yeast and alcohol bites. Watery mouthfeel. Alcoholic finish. I don’t like it much.

OK, I should’ve checked the date on this bottle ... (03/2005). It poured chunky and the whole experience was consistent with the whole bad, old beer vibe. A quickly dying poofy head, sweet and fruity aroma, drinking like sweet musty bread. (#3370, 3/31/2008)

In the 750 mL bottle from Beertopia. At $6 a bottle, I’m very impressed with this beer. Pours the color of honey with a huge off white head that can’t stay in the tulip. Very floral fruity aroma. Flower water and love potion. The flavor has a gargantuan bolus of sweetness at first sip. Very candy sweet with a splash of cough medicine. Finishes quick with a mild whimper of tartness at the end. Underrated here at 3.1

The pour was a light amber color with a two finger white head. The nose is faint but it was bready malty with notes of yeast. A full body creamy beer with a bready malty taste hints of carmel and nuts. The finish was slightly sweet and very clean. Overall a good beer but it has a price tag.

Aroma was bready with cereal malts and a yeast that definitely accentuated maltiness. The beer poured gold with a big white head, but it didn’t hold and the carbonation was slightly less than expected for a corked bottle. Flavor was bready and warm with toasted, and slightly nutty flavors. Pretty pleasant, but could use a little more of something... hops yeast spiciness, esters, etc. soft mouthfeel. hides alcohol well.

pours a somewhat cloudy yellow gold with a nice two finger fluffy white head. aroma is Belgian yeast a little hops and vanilla sugar. has a medium body with ok lacing sometimes a little clumpy and ok carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma but a bit stronger. it is somewhat flat on the palate and a little watery here and there but not too bad. there is no trace of the 7.5% abv at all.

Bottle, pours a clear golden color with a white head that lasts nicely. Sweet light malts dominate the aroma, slight spice as well. A bit on the sweet side, not too bad but still a bit sweet not too watery which was nice. A decent brew.
