| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2007 bottle. Clear golden colour, slightly amber, large and persistent head. Malty and sweet with a pleasant bitter finish. Flowery and perfumy hops thorughout. Well balanced. I couldn’t notice the 7,5% ABV, it appeared lighter and very quaffable to me. faroeviking (6123), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Perhaps a bit of spice. Orange tinged amber color with a decent white head. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. The flavor is bready, stone fruit, light spice and very mild hop. The finish is mildly sweet, and it seems to have a decent amount of floral hop. There is a little spice "burn" as an accent. It is really very good ale. RblWthACoz (963), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Pours a hazed straw gold with very little head. Lots of sediment in there too. Fragrance is musty and dusty. A bit of dead bark on there too. Flavor is actually a lot smoother than I would have thought after everything previous. Slightly sweet, it doesn’t hold a lot of character really beyond that. Feel is standard. Nice bubble on there. Drinkable, yes. It is quaffable indeed. Could easily be a session brew. But I don’t feel as though it carries any great profile that puts it ahead of the crowd.
