Bottle, 75cl corked. Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Quite sweetish on the nose, with some caramel and tropical fruits. Sweet, lightly caramelized flavor, with fruityness, especially in the finish. Medium body. There’s a little farm-ish twist to the beer, which I find nice. (070608)

Bottle. Quite lively when poured. Super fizzy. Light tart flavors. Some spices as well. A bit of tart off flavors as well.

Bottle sampled. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of spices, sweet malts, slight fruit, and yeast. The flavor is sweet, spices, fruit, and finishes bitter.

750ml bottle. Golden body with a huge off-white head. Mild, malty and slightly spicy aroma. Sweet, malty, spicy and some caramel flavor. Refreshing but not very complex.

Bottle. Dark golden in color - clear. Kind of sweet. Slight metallic taste though. Full flavor - definitely strong.

Bottle. This one is perhaps a bit too amped up. Alcohol is very noticeable in the nose taking away a bit from the typical French farmhouse ale funkiness. The same is true for the flavors, the beer finishes almost too hot. The typical style elements such as a tartness, some Belgian yaestiness are still present but they are overpowered by the alcohol.

Bottle. At Siebel Brewer’s Academy (Goose Island Brewpub, Chicago - Clybourn) Belgian tasting May 24 2007. Pale clear gold with an average creamy off-white head. Aroma of grassy pungent hops, sugary malt, slightly fusel alcohol - quite herbal, really. Tasted of honey, clover, floral hops, sweet malt with a somewhat herbal and mild-moderate alcohol bitter finish and linger. Average sticky body, decently carbonated, and a slight increase of honey/sugar in the finish. Grassy and sweet, maybe a tad too sweet.

12 oz bottle via MALT OF THE EARTH BEER CLUB. Pours a clear amber with a large white head. Not getting much from the nose on this one just some mild sweet fruit. Taste starts sweet caramel, then some peache and pear flavor, some biscuit, and some subtle floral hops in the finish. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. This is actually much better than I thought it would be, as I do not normally care much for this style, however this one is pretty tasty.
