Jan 27, 2006 (Bottle 75 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving a pretty lacework. Typical lightly fusty Bière de Garde notes in the aroma combined with some yeast. Malty body with a very high sweetness and some less than pleasant notes of diacetyl and phenol. I bet you’re guaranteed a massive hangover if you get drunk in this. 260106

Jun 7, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Mild caramel malt and light hops aroma. Sweet caramel flavour with a light fruity note. Ends with a grassy dryness yet still mixed with a mild fruity note.

Nov 3, 2005 75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Boy was this good. Bored SilkTork all night with how good this is. Nouveau indeed. Amber colour with thick white head. Nice citrus caramel aroma. Soft in mouth with spicey hop and good pale malts. Excellent blonde/biere de garde/ amber beer. As good as a beer of this style that I’ve had (although not sure what style it should really go under!)

Dec 16, 2007 Bottle. Rating # 2900. Pours a clear deep golden colour with a big lively ccreamish rather short lived white head leaving a good lacing. Aroma of malt, yeast, fruits. and slight honey. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good maltiness and bitterness, some sweetness, yeast, spice, hops and touch of honey. The finish is bitter with some honey sweetness.
