beer is not 3, it is choice. really cheee dog. you should try this beer if you can find it. it’s truly a wonderful thing. the alcohol burn at the end makes it extra memorable. if you like Coors Light - stay away, not for you.

A bit of citrus, but a certain bit of funk in the aroma. Cloudy orange yellow. Flavor is malty and with funk. My beer senses were working as I penned this as a biere de garde. Weird but good.

Flowerly aroma, light fruity, aromatic. Very fruity flavor. Notes of malt, cassis, yeast. Well balanced, nice touch of hop in the end. Very nice, complex and flowerly brew.

75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Boy was this good. Bored SilkTork all night with how good this is. Nouveau indeed. Amber colour with thick white head. Nice citrus caramel aroma. Soft in mouth with spicey hop and good pale malts. Excellent blonde/biere de garde/ amber beer. As good as a beer of this style that I’ve had (although not sure what style it should really go under!)

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Gold with diminishing white head. Sparkling. Aroma of peppery spice, apricot, honey. Medium mouthfeel, slightly sweet but with a pleasing hop finish. Much better than their previous blonde.

750 ml bottle. Clear golden color, frothy white head with some lacing. Aroma of sweet spices and hops with some earthy tones. Bright fruity flavor with herbal notes and a touch of alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, but I’m not complaining. Can’t really say how this rates against other examples of the style, but I found it agreeable.

Bottled. Aroma of sweet citrus and pretty hoppy. Dark yellow color, off-white head, good lace. Rather sweet, loads of citrus, bitter, well hopped, sticky and warming. Refreshing, not complex but very nice.

In the 750 mL bottle from Beertopia. At $6 a bottle, I’m very impressed with this beer. Pours the color of honey with a huge off white head that can’t stay in the tulip. Very floral fruity aroma. Flower water and love potion. The flavor has a gargantuan bolus of sweetness at first sip. Very candy sweet with a splash of cough medicine. Finishes quick with a mild whimper of tartness at the end. Underrated here at 3.1
