| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 16, 2006 (65 cl bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short, almost non-existing frothy white head. Sweet grainy aroma with a touch of marzipan and shy fruity and grassy notes, also a bit alcoholic. Sweetish, slightly artificial flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Grainy taste, sweetish and a bit sticky finish with notes of sweet almonds/marzipan. Definitely not my cup of tea (05.10.06). auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 1, 2006 The aroma is not unlike some Belgian ales with yeast, ginger, citrus, and hops. The appearance is pale gold with a slight haze and a large head that fades fast. The flavor is sweet and bitter. Also it’s quite robust with all the elements from the aroma. The palate is thin. Totally unexpected! It’s not a great beer but it’s the most unique Pale Lager I have had to date.
