All right, I think this may be the "Six" instead of the current Blonde, because the label looks more the one shown on another site. Date stamped "06/03," so this is probably past its time. Interesting pour: left three "bubble" films in the bottle. Pretty big old hops and sugar smell. Definitely unfiltered; a murky brown with lots of floaties. Can’t get much of a head up on this one beyond a little Champagne fizzle. Pilsner style malts that are starting to turn honey/sugary. Closer to a Belgian Blond in style, or even the Bier de Garde of its cousin. If you don’t know what to expect from this, as I didn’t it can be a bit of a rude suprise, but this might be good as a sweet after-dinner beer. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA

Ale Brasseurs. Nose not skunked despite the green bottle; mostly very humble grass &
grain, some spice and floral notes. The brew pours a light clear golden straw. The
outstanding head has an impressive cascade like a fine stout and morphs into a firm rocky
pure white head that leaves stiff hunks of lace on the side of the glass, and has great
retention. The flavor is mostly sweet but not overly so. The light creamy body is smooth
as silk. It is this type of experience that keeps me trying new beers. After almost 500
samples I’ve never tried anything like this offering. Both interesting, and different. Wacher (129), Århus C, Denmark

Taste is sweet citric honey hoppiness. Perhaps a bit too sweet. A great beer for a hot summer night. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

Some herbal hoppiness, sweet biscuity malts, finishes slightly bitter and sour. RooftopRogue (423), Champaign, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 4, 2006 This beer offers a mild aroma consisting of wheat and yeast. It is a translucent yellow with no head. This beer is thin but has a characteristic about it that feels good in the mouth. The taste is a mild wheaty one that fades sweet. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 3, 2006 A strong smell when popping open this one, abit of a floral flavor, with some hops noted, sweetness stays on the tongue too long, not too good, abit too sweet for me with this style. Some slight hopcitric, honey, and thiol notes in the aroma, with taste hints of malty honey sweetness, followed by some crisp hops. There is a fairly strong honey component in this one.
