BoBoChamp (1334), Gent, Belgium Jun 23, 2009 33cl, from Willems Grobbendonk, complex brew, yet easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, nice brew MoritzF (4856), Bochum, Germany Mar 23, 2009 (33cl bottle) Hazy, amber coloured hue with many nasty and ugly floaties and a mid-sized, slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and yeasty, slightly toasted malty aroma with notes of candy and a vinous fruity touch. Light-sweet flavour with a tinge of acidity, light to medium bodied with a fizzy carbonation. Dusty-yeasty, minimal toasted malty and slightly fruity taste; finishes slightly fruity and fizzy with a touch of vinegar. Not a pleasure (23.III.09). Borresteijn (1347), Amstelveen, Netherlands Nov 28, 2008 Bottle @ Take One. Hazy amber colour, white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, fruits and some hops. Flavour is soft and sweet, caramel, a little fruity with a nice bitter finish. piscator34 (1121), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Nov 26, 2008 Bottled sample aquired via lubiere. Amber in colour with medium to strong carbonation. The aromas are somewhat saison-like, with notes of hay, marshmallow, and lemon. Flavors are of pale malts, grassy and earthy hops, thyme, mint, and kosher salt. Light bodied, and hides its alcohol well. Quite drinkable, but with loads of character too. Surprisingly good, considering its low ratings.
