Bottle, 33 cl. @ home 28.08.’07 (Bought at Willems) Amber color, white head. Aroma caramel, a bit yeasts, malts, little fruits. Medium body. Taste = complex fruity, malty, little bitter and sourness. Good. Re-tasted with DavidBles, yesterday 07.08.’08 @Ons Tehuis (Diest). Almost clear amber color, with off-white head. Caramel aroma, bit yeast nose. Taste caramel, malty, bitterouch, dry end.

A cloudy amber ale with a thick creamy off white head, ith light floaties. Aroma of spices, thyme, coriander and fruits. In mouth, a tingly mouthfeel is noticed, with crisp dry sharp malt, herbal qualities, astringent, lots of alcohol for the style. Very yeasty. Bieropholie private imports, BB 30-12-2009.

Pours a cloudy rusty amber color with lots of chunks floating and a medium, bubbly, offwhite head. The aroma has candy sweetness with fruityness akin to peaches or apricots and spices, interesting. The flavor doeasn’t have anything special or amazing but the mix of peaches/apricots, yeast, spices and candy sweetness is interesting, there’s a sense of balance between these elements that prevent this beer from being unpleasant. The body is medium with a smooth, almost creamy texture with a lively carbonation that provides a little push to the flavor. The more sips I have of this beer the more I like it, it’s very surprising since I don’t like this brewery.

Golden color; huge thick head. Aroma of malt, with some coriander, and light fruity touch. The flavor is quite ordinary, with a light malt taste and some coriander. Not bitter enough. Easy Ale.

hazy reddish-amber colour with a foamy beige head; aroma of yeast and fresh cut apples; overcarbonated and quite acidic with a solid sweetness underneath; fizzy and fruity finish - confusing

Bottle Yellow to amber, clear body. Rocky, off-white head. Fruity (oranges) aroma but not intense, some honey too. Lightly bitter, somewhat alcoholic flavour. Very plain flavour and a little bit astringent. Not very interesting.

Bottle, 7%. Fruity, vinous raisin aroma. Clear dark copper/red colour. Small head. The flavour is somehow roasted, a bit as if the grain has been completely drained of every last drop of starch. Slightly sweet and quite vinous. Ending with a sweet fruitiness.

(Rating #929)
