Smoke, coffee, some chewy graininess in the body.
Low carbonation, goed flat.
But it is easy drinking, pleasant and smooth, the very opposite of the nitro stouts.

Mar 23, 2008 Black with a small beige head. Light gentle chocolate aroma. Slightly sweet chocolate flavour, little roasted bitterness until the finish which is quite dry with a strong trace of coffee. Full body and gentle carbonation. Overall a very nice, quite soft and gentle dry stout.

Nov 2, 2007 (Bottle) Pours dark brown. Heavy roasted aroma with tones of coffee beans, espresso, green pepper, parsley, sal ammoniac and cocoa. Some strange hints of pine. Heavy roasted flavour with notes of coffee beans, espresso and salt liquorice. Light oily and round mouthfeel with a dry finish. Medium full bitter. Medium bodied. Really good.
