TEJA (144), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 23, 2008 Bottle (Thanks omhper).
Nice white head that stays forever.
Big fresh hop aroma that makes you just sit and smell it and be happy. Eventually when you thirst is to big the taste is so well balanced with much bitterness that stays long combined with hop freshness and a little caramell. Not to big body makes it drinkable in larger quantities. This is a wery nice beer. sickassmick (62), Concord, California, USA Mar 5, 2008 This is an awesome beer. not as big feeling as a lot of IPA’s but extremely well balanced and refreshing. I live a block away from the brewery so I’m sure this is as fresh as it gets. NICE 1.
smell is not overpowering but nice. Pour is pretty clear. small head. good lacing, pretty creamy mouthfeel. Beautiful delivery in the flavor department. great hoppy aftertaste, but nothing like the IPA that goes overboard. I really like this one. VERY drinkable despite the higher abv. LOVE IT Taverner (481), San Ramon, California, USA Feb 25, 2008 Not bad not good...smell is very malty. Almost a stale malt smell and flavor - but it’s not that bad. The hops kick in and are definitely separate from the malts - the two are not working together but independently.
The aftertaste saves this, as it has a nice dank, mellowed hop flavor that it leaves you with. Bov (4659), Bienne, Switzerland Feb 1, 2008 courtesy of Per - slightly hazy amber-bronze colour with a giant pale beige foam; nice lace; strong aroma of oranges and flowers, medium to full-bodied, very creamy, some sweetness and decently bitter, long flowery and perfumy aftertaste with more notes of oranges omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Dec 16, 2007 Updated: Jan 23, 2008Draught at the brewpub (as English India Pale Ale). Clear amber, minimal head. Powerful aroma of hay and orange. Medium sweet with dense malt and medium to full body. Plenty of hay/orange-like hops backed by an excellently crafted maltu body. Very good!
