Cask handpull at Victoria, Earl Soham. Chestnut, lasting beige head. Excellent condition. Strong hop and rich brown sugar malt aroma. Smooth in mouth, and then a big burst of hop on the finish. Really peppery. Decent best bitter, with a very heavy hop finish for an English beer. Malts are toffeeish.

Cask, Leicester Fest 07. Amber brown with a small head. Aromas are toffee malts with spices and pine. Flavours are sweet toffee with quite a degree of fruit. Soft malts with some biscuit. Some herbal notes. A well balanced bitter.

Cask@Leicester Beer Festival 2007. Dark golden beer with a lightly malty aroma and a malty, caramel and dry flavour. Overall a light caramel dry beer.
