Both the aroma and flavor are all about honey and raspberries or blackberries; I can’t decide. Regardless, it’s made with blueberries so my nose and palate must be way off. Medium-bodied. Sweet, tangy and then dry. A joy to drink! Thanks go out to mcbackus for pulling this one from the back of the rack! Ibrew2or3 (2761), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA

Pours a cloudy garnet with zero head. The aroma is somewhere between big and huge with fruity berries and wine grapes. An inviting elixir that beckons to be consumed. The taste is just like the aroma with big smooth berriness, red wine and tartness. The finish is dry and very nice. kmweaver (2463), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a very bright, oily ruby-raspberry color; headless. Lots of blueberries and sweet honey in the aroma; not overly sweet, but slightly muted nose. Light carbonation, if any. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: viscous honey, basic blueberry notes, and heavy honeyed sweetness; generous, but again just a bit muted compared to what I’d hope for; alcohol is nonexistent. Lengthy finish: honeyed sweetness, basic blueberry character; lasting, reserved sweetness. beerbill (1953), Laurel, New York, USA

Found it in the fridge in the garage while making room for the Thanksgiving food. Opened the bottle last night. Pours a clear purplish red with no head. Wonderful aroma of blueberries and honey. The blueberries and honey mesh well in the flavor as well. Not excessively sweet - I was worried it might be like pancake syrup. Smooth and delicious. I really enjoy good meads, and this one is right at the top. A real gem. scraff (1942), Baltimore, Maryland, USA

Nose was full of fresh honeyed blueberry throughout. Sweet honey and blueberry flavors continue the trend. Medium bodied and slick. Great mead... mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA

It had a small little white head to it. I was surprised by that. The aroma was very fruity. Definitely got the blueberries and the honey in the nose. Quite pleasant. Wow, pretty good flavor! The blueberries and honey really balance each other out nicely, I loved the fruity flavor. Very smooth going down, and left me wanting more. This was an unexpected rare treat!
