750 ml bottle. I forgot I had purchased this over the summer while visiting the Finger Lakes. Found it in the fridge in the garage while making room for the Thanksgiving food. Opened the bottle last night. Pours a clear purplish red with no head. Wonderful aroma of blueberries and honey. The blueberries and honey mesh well in the flavor as well. Not excessively sweet - I was worried it might be like pancake syrup. Smooth and delicious. I really enjoy good meads, and this one is right at the top. A real gem.

Another big thanks to mcbackus for bringing this wonderful mead. Pours a cloudy garnet with zero head. The aroma is somewhere between big and huge with fruity berries and wine grapes. An inviting elixir that beckons to be consumed. The taste is just like the aroma with big smooth berriness, red wine and tartness. The finish is dry and very nice.

Courtesy mcbackus. Thanks Matt! Pours a clear, glowing light pinkish red. It had a small little white head to it. I was surprised by that. The aroma was very fruity. Definitely got the blueberries and the honey in the nose. Quite pleasant. Wow, pretty good flavor! The blueberries and honey really balance each other out nicely, I loved the fruity flavor. Very smooth going down, and left me wanting more. This was an unexpected rare treat!

750mL bottle, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Clear still pinkish purple. Nose was full of fresh honeyed blueberry throughout. Sweet honey and blueberry flavors continue the trend. Medium bodied and slick. Great mead...

Bottle thanks to beerbill, sampled on 8/7/08: Pours bright ruby pink with thin legs. Aroma of fresh blueberries, black currants and floral honey. Body starts fairly full and viscous with good sweet honey and blueberry flavor throughout with a touch of brown sugar. A pretty nice mead.

Courtesy mcbackus. Clear purple color with no head. Sweet floral aroma of a general berry character instead of a defined blueberry aroma. Medium-bodied. The taste is also more raspberry or strawberry-like, and the finish was nice and dry. An interesting mead.

Courtesey mcbackus. Pours a beatuiful pink-purple color. No surprise, blueberries are front and center with the honey making a cameo as well. Very nice. Flavor is sweet, seamless integration between the fruit and honey. Damn, this is great.
