Tap at Spuyten a ways back. Aroma of apricot, earth, raisins, very sweet malt. Flavor is basically just sweetness with more raisins. Syrupy, and a bit astringent and alcoholic on the finish. Not a favorite.

Barelywine huh? A good description for this junk. Deep red orange pour with almost no head. Aroma is just intensely, syrupy sweet. Sort of like a honey fruit cocktail. The yeast has thrown a lot of esters giving it a lot of berryish fruit and cherries. Oddly thin-bodied given all of the sweetness that is in here. Underhopped, underattenuated, under good.

Draft at SD. Pours a dark orange body with a thin white head. Floral etoh latent fruit, fruit syrup, fructose and some strong hop resins. Didn’t like how the hops met the malt bill.

Draft at Spuyten Duyvil. Orange red pour.Sweet citrus aroma. Good flavor with a refreshing aftertaste. Seemed like i was the only one enjoying this offering of the group.

Draft at Spuyten Duyvil. Pours a deep ruby/orange with no head. Aroma is sweet and juicy (with apple). Flavor is super sweet and medicinal. Despite the relatively "low" abv, this was very heavy in the palate. Ugh, not a good beer. 7/4/6/3/12 (3.2/5)

On draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear light coppery amber with a medium off white head. Aroma of light fruit, malt, grains, and barley. Taste of mild dark fruit, light candied sugar and malt. Has that Belgian quality to it.

Tap at Earth. Pours a mostly translucent golden orange with a medium creamy white head that left tons of sticky lacing. Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, tropical fruits, pineapple, nuts and toffee. Flavor of soft pretzels, dark fruits, nuts, caramel, toffee, vanilla, a good bit of hop character, pine and slightly warming. Well done more "sessionable" BW.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours amber red with a big off white head. Fruit dominates the aroma, dark fruits and citrus, along with sweeter honey notes, toast and hops. The flavor starts on the sweet side, with honey and fruits. Toasted malts round out the middle before yielding to a floral and piny hop finish. Pretty good.
