Sep 5, 2009 On tap at the brewpub. Amber brown with a thin white head. Nose has hints of chocolate and grain but overall pretty bland. Crisp medium light with lively carb. Taste is bittersweet chocolate and coffee with a woody lime finish. Easy drinking with full flavor.

Aug 16, 2009 Tap at EBB. Pours a deeper brown with amber notes and a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, dark fruits and cereal grains. Flavor of hard pretzels, toasted malt, nuts, Cheerios and overall a flavorful yet dry and easy drinking beer.

Aug 16, 2009 Cask at EB&B. Dark amber-brown, small white head. Nose and flavor are very similar: darker fruit, caramel, light, sweet malt. Very creamy body, slightly robust, very enjoyable given the flavor profile.

Jul 17, 2009 [Cask @ EB&B] Poured a dark brownish red color with a few small, off white bubbles, but no lacing on the glass. Aroma of raisins, plums, figs, cocoa, and caramel. Taste of caramel, roast, chestnuts, dark chocolate, raisins, and figs, with a semi sweet finish.
