EB+B’s Germantown Brown is a hearty brown ale, roasted medium bodied, caramel malts, & nuttiness. It’s the type of brown ale that I enjoy.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours brown with a thin beige head. Light malty aroma with some caramel sweetness, and lighter notes of chocolate and nuts. The flavor has an excellent balance of roast and sweet hazelnuts, with lesser notes of chocolate, toffee and cream. Just a hint of bitterness shows in the finish, but otherwise the hop profile is not that noticeable (which for my money, is what I want in a good brown ale).

Poured a copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, nuts, toffee, and a bit of roast. Taste was sweeter caramel malts, light citrus, nuts, toffee, and a lightly bitter finish.
