Nose is slightly muted cold, but gives off a bit of wood and sap. Flavor is more exciting with sweet citrus and just a hit of herbaciousness. Body is a bit soft... I just want a bit more carbonation and I would be REALLY happy. Love this place.

Appearance is a hazy orange on the darker end of the color with great head. Flavor is pine/resin hops but overall light and refreshing. Medium in body and carbonation. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 28, 2009 Several samples at the brewery. Shimmering orange-gold with a moderate, foamy white head. Nose has some light, fresh hop, also pine, cracker, and caramel. More piney hop in the flavor, still some pale malt (very bready). Sticky and a little salty. Nice balance, but the fresh hop seems a little subdued in it roder60 (1033), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jul 11, 2009 Poured a hazy darker orange red color with nice medium amount of foamy whitish head. Aroma is a mix of piney and ctiric hops and a bit of sweetness. Mouthfeel is pretty light and watery, doughy sweet malt base and a bit of dry citric/resiny hops for finish. Not overly hoppy by any means. Overall, not my favorite, think there could have been more to it. keepersj12 (816), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2009 On tap sample at East End. Poured a pale gold and supported a decent head with floral hops and fruit aromas... a bit of lemon and some grass. Flavor is a pretty good reflection of that, as well. It has a nice malt presence, but its true interest lies in the fruit (pears, lemon and apricot) and the grassy, slightly peppery, aftertaste. This is pretty solid. The aroma was a lovely mix sweet, tart and fruity hops. The flavor was full on strong sweet, tart and fruity hops. Very one dimensional but an excellent dimension. Delicious. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2008 Draft. Pours hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose is resiny hops, lemongrass, grainy malt, some fruit. Tastes hopcitric, with peary fruit notes, plus bready malt and some spicy peppery notes. As with all East End brews, this one is complex and very well balanced. East End is definitely in my top 25 brewers of all time at this point.
