Bought a 1/4 keg of this for my wedding reception. Was a lovely compliment to the Belgian Black. Pours a pale yellow/orange with a small white head. Aroma was pretty straight forward with some malts, hops, and a bit of corn. Palate was good, soft but decent carbonation. Flavors weren’t very complex, but went down pretty smooth.

Several samples at the breweryHazy straw-gold color, decent paper-white head. Soft nose of citrus, grain, and light grass. More of an APA flavor with ample pale malt and orange, odd hints of gum, and a slightly hoppy, bitter finish. Large bread note throughout and a little watery. Good drinking, but there are better summer beers.

This poured a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. Aroma was rather bland, somewhat sweet malts and grassy. Flavor was hints of bittering and spicey hops with a mild malt character. A bit thin as well.

From growler. Mild hoppy aroma on this one, with light grain notes. Grassy and slightly herbal, with some pilsner malt. Hazy golden amber clear with thin white lacing head. Medium watery body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with a mild sweet grainy character and pilsner malt. More of an unfiltered lager taste than a traditional Kölsch - though this is not surprising, as I’ve yet to find a truly Kölsch-tasting Kölsch outside of Köln. Anway, this is very tasty and enjoyable, easily drinkable as a session beer. The finish is dry with light spicy bitterness, and a light malty sweet after. Good stuff.
