Excellent whiskey barrel grain aroma with fresh orange juice. Cloudy, ruddy brown with not top. Spicy ethanol grain flavour with some chocolate, bitter pine, and oak. Moderate carbonation, low hops bitter finish, warming, medium body.

Nov 17, 2008 Deep unclear reddish brown. Malty aroma of ripe fruit anb caramel. Some spices develops in mouth. Sweet flavour with some sour hint in finish. Well balanced.
Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark
Oct 12, 2008 (On tap) Hazy reddish brown with a small off-white head. Sweetish sherry aroma, woody with some alcohol in the nose. Quite full-bodied with fruit - both dried and overripe. Has some good aroma hops but also a lightly earthy edge. Subdued bitterness. 120908
Maria (4673), Thisted, Denmark
Oct 5, 2008 EBF2008. It’s unclear, red mahogany with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of butterscotch, cheese and a little fruit. The flavour has sweetness, a nice hoppy bite with light notes of pine and dry citrus. I would have like a little more caramel.
