Jun 4, 2008 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Northamptonshire BF. A black beer with an off-white head. The aroma has chocolate and roasted malts together with a little fruitiness. The taste is fruity and roasty with coffee notes. A nice porter.

Aug 31, 2005 Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Initial hops in this menacing, black brew, then a crazy, hardcore, bitter and ashy charcoal finish. Thin in the mouth, and the over-the-top aftertaste is almost unpleasant.
