EB is one of the best selling brands in Poland. Truly awful! Thin, metallic, greasy, like the watered down oil from a second hand moped. Roger Protz wrote a rave review of this in The Guardian earlier this year (2002) calling it an ’impressive beer’ - so I tried again. I’m impressed he managed to drink it all. Still it’s good pilsner with good taste. No longer top notch. I am sad :( CapFlu (3492), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pale golden with a small, white head.
A bit sweetish toffee-notes. Also some vegetables present.
Pretty weak bitterness and medium body. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2002 Aroma not as skunky as expected - thin head gives way to an almost clear pour. Bit of a metallic taste throughout - but not enough to make it unenjoyable or undrinkable. Beats American Pilseners.
