omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 21, 2008 Updated: Apr 28, 2008 Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Muddy orange brown with creamy beige head and loads of yeast sediment. Estery fruity nose with pineapple and caramel. Sweet and malty with medium-full body with notes of alcohol and an undefined fruitiness. I get more raspberry and pineapple than prunes. Peculiar and interesting.
esox (103), Oulu, Finland Aug 21, 2008 Bottled. Dirty orange to brown colour. Big yeast particles in the liquid. Medium, creamy head is light beige. Rich aroma is full of sweet fruits: banana and plum are distinctive. Warm and yeasty, a bit sour for fermented fruitiness. Some spiciness too. Something "glue-like" in the finish with sour apples. Flavor is sweet, a bit fruity- sour in the finish. Not much bitterness. Palate is very pleasant: foaming ans silky smooth. Medium bodied. brentfeesh (907), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Aug 17, 2008 750ml bottle thanks to Santa 2008. Deep hazy date-amber color with no head. Sweet aroma with notes of dried fruit, prune and date. It’s very appealing. Full and semi-sweet with a touch of malt. The flavor is equally interesting and enjoyable. Sweet initial flavor with dates, plums, and prunes. Malt is readily available for you taste buds to enjoy and it is full and sweet but not cloying. Touch of caramel and Belgian candy. Fully bodied and slick mouth feel. All and all an enjoyable dessert beverage. Thanks Santa. AmEricanbrew (924), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Aug 6, 2008 Clear copper with a tan head.
