Bottle says 7%. Black with a thin tan head. Aroma is roasty, with milk chocolate, cream, and light alcohol. Taste is a interesting roastiness, with light coffee accent, caramel, lightly watery.

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Alcohol and malt on the nose. Dark with a thin white head. Barley and malt taste. A bit effervescent on the palette and a mild bitter finish. Decent beer.

Sep 21, 2008 This was a nice full bodied stout that had some darker coffee like flavours that made their wat to the top as it warmed up.

Sep 18, 2008 Bottle. Good roasted coffee aroma. Black body with tan head. Roasted nut flavor with a bitter dry coco in the mix. Thinner body texture but a good stout. Little dry and chalk lingers on the palate. Good brew.

Sep 10, 2008 Bottle. Pours black, creamy coffee-like frothy head, decent wet lacing. Roasted coffee nose, vanilla, maple syrup, nuttiness, peanut butter vibe. Flavors of roasted coffee, cocoa, maple, brown sugar big in the finish. Surprised by this one, very tasty, body is rich, roasted and superbly drinkable.

Sep 4, 2008 Pours dark as night fall in a dust strom throwing up a lasting head. Mild aromas of charred sour leather. This isn’t a bad thing. Medium nectar with excellent carbonation. This beer is heavily roasted and very dry with flavors of roasted coffee bean, bitter cocoa and a pinch of molasses. The finish lingers with strong roast. This one is way underrated.
