A nice fruity wheaty aroma with an underlying sweetness. The color is an unclear brown and it has a fine though disappearing head. The flavor is very nice, sweet, wheaty, fruity, oranges, and lime. It has almost no bitterness. The body is well rounded.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Edelweiss Weissbier Dunkel". Unclear amber with a creamy, off-white head. Loads of fruity banana and citrus esters in both aroma and flavour and some sweetish, wheaty notes. Very delicate. 120106

Straightforward dunkelweizen, nothing special.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dep orang to light brown. Huge light tan head. Aroma is mild roasted and wheaty towards a light banana estery note. Starts with a roasted and slight breadish flavour, goes into a solid banana fruity ester. Flat and estery finish.

Clear chestnut body with off-white head. Aroma is banana, some caramel, and definite wheat. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, light banana, and some wheat. Watery, light-medium body. Interesting beer.
