pours like typical wheat beer, cloudy pale yellow with big white frothy head. Aroma is what gives it character. Flavor is rather typical of this beer style, perhaps even milder in flavor than others I have tried. Overall not as interesting as I expected. A good beer nonetheless., I would buy again (price is decent) just not something I would seek out to try again. Does go down nice on a warm summer day.

330ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours the ideal Hefe look, but a smaller head. Odd smelling, but in a nice way, herbal of course, with lots of yeast. Flavour isn’t as different as I was expecting, but it’s still a bit odd. A hint of mint along the typical hefe flavours, but what really stands out is this bubble-gum flavour. Pleasant and drinkable, but only mildly out of the ordinary. The only thing I don’t personally like very much is the sourness in the finish. Cool bottle though.

330 ml bottle from the LCBO. pours hazy yellow white an everlasting pure white head. aromas of belgian wit and bubble gum. flavours are very similar to the aromas. the alpine herbs add an interesting twist. reminds me so much of bubble gum. enjoyable but i couldnt have to in a row. nice beer if you were on a date and planned to make out after. i will buy this one again.

330 mL bottle. (bb 02/2009). Cloudy yellow beer that seems to have an almost greenish tinge to it. Very active with a nice white head to it. Typical weiss aroma with something very fresh and herbal/floral underneath. There is something a little different about the taste as well, but I can’t quite put my finger (tongue?) on it - unfamiliar "alpine herbs" I suppose. It’s a little sweet (honey?), with mild mint, bananas, semi-sweet citrus, bubble gum, and wheat. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Not bad - it certainly differentiates itself a bit from some of the other wheat beers out there.

I tried this beer on June 5, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy golden orange colour with a thick white head which lasted a few minutes. The aroma was wheat, some cloves, and a little bit of hops. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied and highly carbonated. The flavour was sweet wheat with some clove, banana, and coriander.

The bottle says "aromatic taste of alpine herbs" This is true. You can definartely taste a hint of pine and fresh air. The beer is very easy drinking and has no aftertaste. Appearance is great. Yellow white coulour. Not typical for a true weissbeer.

Found Edelweiss in a Prague supermarket. Very pleased with my purchase. Fine, foamy head. Diaphonous, golden color is slightly more transparent than the typical weissbier. This Edelweiss is not your typical weissbier. It is hard for me to put my finger on exactly what separates Edelweiss, except for the color. As others have said, it has a spice flavor and aroma. Lovely, smooth finish. It’s very refreshing.
