Aroma has citrus, hops, candy, sweetnes and yeast. Flavor is quite thin and watery. Has citrus, hops and marmalade. There is some strange touch to this brew that I can´t put the finger on... The spiciness of the added herbs really compliments the clvoe phenolics typical of hefe fbeers. Very well made and good tasting, and WAY better than some Belgian fruity crap. which seems to be the shits. TheJester (717), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

Cloudy yellow beer that seems to have an almost greenish tinge to it. Very active with a nice white head to it. Typical weiss aroma with something very fresh and herbal/floral underneath. There is something a little different about the taste as well, but I can’t quite put my finger (tongue?) on it - unfamiliar "alpine herbs" I suppose. It’s a little sweet (honey?), with mild mint, bananas, semi-sweet citrus, bubble gum, and wheat. Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Not bad - it certainly differentiates itself a bit from some of the other wheat beers out there. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Definitely not the usual. Very pale straw, quickly fizzing out head, candied citrus peel aroma with notes of mint. Body is incredibly soft, with mild carbonation -- this ain’t packing snow. Banana and pink bubblegum in the finish, although the middle flavours are more wheaty and dry. There is something distinctly Alpine about it, and krauterliquors come to mind somewhere in there. Worth a try, but not sure I’d drink it again. JesseM (669), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 13, 2008 330ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours the ideal Hefe look, but a smaller head. Odd smelling, but in a nice way, herbal of course, with lots of yeast. Flavour isn’t as different as I was expecting, but it’s still a bit odd. A hint of mint along the typical hefe flavours, but what really stands out is this bubble-gum flavour. Pleasant and drinkable, but only mildly out of the ordinary. The only thing I don’t personally like very much is the sourness in the finish. Cool bottle though. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 8, 2009 Yellowy beige gold body and was a little more then hazy but not really cloudy in the body so I don’t think you can really call this a true krystal weizen but at least there were no visible chunkies, a good quarter inch cap was produced that lasted pretty much the entire brew and left curtains of lacing behind. Aroma is nice and complex keeping me interested in the beer; soap, banana, wheat, perfume, and tons of lemon make up the nice aroma and it was relatively strong without being overbearing I liked it. Dam it that soapy smell comes through pretty strong in the taste not a fan of this, wheat yeast and lots of lemon make up most of the flavor and it has a good banana finish. You can really taste the herbs they have added to the mix I’m not sure what they are but it tastes a lot like jager. Good tasty and very unique I’m glad I tried it, it’s not overly mind blowing but for a change and to try something a little different this works nicely.
