May 26, 2008 The bottle says "aromatic taste of alpine herbs" This is true. You can definartely taste a hint of pine and fresh air. The beer is very easy drinking and has no aftertaste. Appearance is great. Yellow white coulour. Not typical for a true weissbeer.

May 4, 2008 Found Edelweiss in a Prague supermarket. Very pleased with my purchase. Fine, foamy head. Diaphonous, golden color is slightly more transparent than the typical weissbier. This Edelweiss is not your typical weissbier. It is hard for me to put my finger on exactly what separates Edelweiss, except for the color. As others have said, it has a spice flavor and aroma. Lovely, smooth finish. It’s very refreshing.

Oct 3, 2009 On tap @ The Warf.Pours cloudy yellow with a nice white head.Aroma of coriander,banana and citrus.So far so good.Flavor is bubblegum with some sourness and fruitiness , not very appealing.Cidery ,fizzy and thin.Didn’t work for me.

Jul 9, 2009 Bottle. Very citrusy nose, with spice and cloves notes. Quite lively and light on the palate, with banana and wheat predominating, and well carbonated, but not overly so. A decent weissbier.

Aug 7, 2008 Updated: Aug 14, 2008Pours a cloudy yellow with a small foamy white head. Aroma of herbs, fruit, yeast, clove, and wheat. Flavour similar with a hint of mint, and quite spicy. The aftertaste was sweet. It went down smooth but was intense at the same time.

Nov 21, 2008 Pale golden color, creamy head, cloudy texture but light body. Strong spicey aroma. Very refreshing unique taste with full of coriander, banana, citruses. Great.

Pours a semi-hazy olive yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and floral. Raisins, prunes, and wheat with lots of spices. Taste is similar with some doughy bread notes along the line of a belgian style ale. Has a bit of an herbal twist to it also. Smooth oily feel with a little bit of a sticky finish. Had this one a long time ago and hated it but I suppose now I’m more used to the style and think this a pretty nice beer. Give it a try.
