Sample from 330 ml bottle at the Brewery International stand, Smak 09. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, hazy, moderate head. Moderate hefeweizen aroma, notes of cloves and bubblegum. The flavour is fairly dry with moderate notes of cloves.

Bottled@Smak 09. A dense two-finger white head upon a misty, pale yellow-golden body. Mildly spiced, artificial banana aroma. Taste is sourish wheaty, sharp fruity with a metallic twist. Quite thin-bodied. Dry, light acidulous finish.

Murky orange-yellow in colour with a thin white head, light lacing. The aroma is spicy, some bananas, flowers and some citrus. The flavour is lightly spicy, some cloves, lemon citrus, moderate bitterness. Moderately bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes long, citrusy with some spice.

Not bad but is this a wit beer? Seems to thin out quite a bit at the very end.

330ml bottle from the LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario.
Opened on June 20, 2008.
BB February 2009.

Bottle (in NZ). Pours a hazed pale yellow. Mostly banana on the nose, with a hint of lemon. Quite a bit of sourness to the palate, with a stoned-fruit flavour. Not what I was expecting at all, and different enough for me to rate it a bit higher.

Slight hazy pale yellow hue, with an off-white head, yeasty, bananaish, citrus, herbal root nose, with a hint of spicy ginger root, ripe apple fruitiness in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, spicy, banana character, with a kind of apple juice fruitiness, with some hints of vanilla, ginger root and aromatic herbs, maybe eldelweiss and gentian flowers, leading towards a spicy kind of cinnamon finish.

Bottled at Bierfestival Gusswerk: Intensive bubble gum aroma. Yellow color. Flavor is sweet, herbal and flowerly notes and again a quite intensive bubble gum note. Dry, light grainy finish. I don’t like this bubble gum notes....

330 ml bottle at Øl&Mat09 in Oslo. Hazy golden color, nice white head. Aroma is fruity with banana, wheaty and a bit spicy. Flavor is almost soapy, perfumed and floral, and has some sweetness. Refreshing, but a bit syntetic.
