hazy yellow pour, with little to no head. Lots of yeast in the aroma along with lots of citrus, especially lemon. Flavour is very much all lemon to my tastes, its like a lemon lifesaver. Its interesting, not 100% unpleasant, but i’m not tasting any "alpine herbs".

Bottled 33cl. Bought in Rietschi Getränke, Arlesheim. Appearance: It pours a murky pale golden beer with a tall, nicely remaining creamy white head. Beautiful lacework. Aroma: Rather strong and inviting. Banana, candy sugar, arabic gum, sherbet and lime. Flavor and palate: Huge amounts of strawberry, green tea and cinnamon showing up. Good balance. Very interesting. Reminiscent of marjoram and bubble gum. Medium bodied. Sweetish. The slallow is dominated by herbs leaving a spicy (coriander) finish. Overall impression: Extremely refreshing and pleasant. An excellent Spice/Herb/Vegetable. I’m against the grain here.

330ml Bottle- Amber/orange in colour with a small head. The aroma is spicy with bananas featuring prominently. The taste is quite mellow at first but the spices are detectable again with the banana being very noticeable and lingering in the finish.

A hazy grubby, yellow colored beer, with a thick white head. The aroma of fruity malt, with citrus and banana, a little hop. The taste is fresh fruity, bananas, flowery. And it has some perfume. The aftertaste is fruitflowers and some bitter.

Meduim yellow in colour with strong carbonation and lots of haze. Typical hefeweiss aromas of lemon, bubblegum, and banana, along with some additional floral and herbal notes. Spot on mouthfeel with the heft of the wheat being balanced nicely by the carbonation. Considerably more fruity and herbal than your average hefeweiss in terms of flavor. The cloves, lemon, and vanilla are still there, but the peppery "alpine herbs" definitely spice things up a bit. I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this one, but it’s shaping up to be a nice summery pint.
