Aroma of banana ester if dominating with some subtle sourness. Taste is also dominated by banana ester as well as lots of wheat and finished with some subtle sourness which is too bad because everything was perfect and pointing to a magnificent weizen. It is too bad that the style doesn’t travel well because I am sure that this stuff is great when fresh. The spices aspect of it is interesting but that weizen part of this really dominate. Flavour was citric fruit, clove and pine. Though light enough not to be unpleasant.
Nice solid Weisse with a little hook in the alpine herbs. faroeviking (6092), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Lots of yeast in the aroma along with lots of citrus, especially lemon. Flavour is very much all lemon to my tastes, its like a lemon lifesaver. Its interesting, not 100% unpleasant, but i’m not tasting any "alpine herbs". Quevillon (1530), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada

App.: Cloudy golden, small white foam.
Aroma: A really nice, inviting floral, perfumed sweetness, hard to say what the herbs are, but maybe lavender?, sort of fruity (white grapes and tropical fruits), a bit of yeast, apricot and light berries, a touch of mandarin orange.
Palate: Medium body and fairly full effervescence with some sharp bubbles.
Flav.: Plenty of the perfumed, floral notes, lots of nice apricot and berry fruits, light yeast, slightly grassy, some wheat, a bit of honey; dry with no bitterness and lingering flower petals with some sweet orange notes.
A nice treat. Unique and enjoyable.
