Bottle from the LCBO. Lots of herbs and spices in the aroma as well as some sweet fruits. Taste is similar and yeasty with a nicely carbonated feel. Wicked taste and definitely a unique treat every once in a while.

Warm from the bottle, I was thirsty! Like a fruity krystal weizen with a few twists. The spiciness of the added herbs really compliments the clvoe phenolics typical of hefe fbeers. Very well made and good tasting, and WAY better than some Belgian fruity crap. which seems to be the shits.

Bottle (330ml). via trade with mgermani. Cloudy orangeish yellow, smallish fizzy white diminishing head. Bananas, yeast, spice and floral hops in the aroma. Taste has less fruit, more spice and a lot of candy sweetness, sweet herbal bitter finish. Watery, sharply carbonated body - very crisp, solid, but not sock-knocking-off.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Hazy yellow body with a lot of bubbles. Pleasant apple pear banana lemon aroma with nutty undertones. Heavily carbonated strong lemon flavor and banana in the background. Long aftertaste. Quite refreshing.

Hazy pale yellow with a huge foamy head with great retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is wheat, herbs, banana and cloves. Flavor is sweeter than expected with wheat, banana esters, herbs and spices. Body is a little thin. Very refreshing.

With the fancy bottle and advertised addition of Alpine herbs, honestly, I didn’t give this much of a chance, but I was totally wrong. The beer is obviously not a Krystal Weisen due to the thick, cloudy gold appearance. Poured out a nice white foamy cap but it sizzled down to a light skim and ring with some light ropy lacing. The aroma is mainly lemony cirtus, wheat, cloves and bananas (well blalanced) but if you breathe deep you can notice a faint medicial scent. Very refreshing! Taste is really clean with no overpowering flavours. Quite wheaty overall albiet not strong. I’m losing flavour as this warms...or is it the herbs that are numbing my taste buds? Some vanilla, clove and a touch of banana linger and an obvious tart flavour. Medium light bodied, fairly creamy and highly carbonated. Dry and tart finish and a mouthfeel that does not let you forget the beer too quickly. The tartness is close to a bitter feel but doen’t quite make it there. Way more enjoyable colder as it was better and more intriguing early on. Interesting, mild and refreshing.

[1987-20090205] 330mL bottle. Fresh sweet pine yeast -- it really is snowfresh! Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting creamy white head. Sweet and spicy yeast flavour still has that nice fresh pine yeast. Medium body is a little spicy. Quite refreshing.

330 ml bottle - pours dull, slightly cloudy straw blond, lacks the "brightness" of a god hefe. Thick, sticky white head settles down after a bit. Strong fruity aroma, almost candy-like, with some medicinal notes as well, I guess from the herbs. Lemon and mint, too. Maybe a hint of nutmeg? Compelling. Very fresh smelling. Flavour similar to a hefe, but with a few more crisp, dry herbal notes. Wonderfully refreshing - perfect hot weather beer.
