Tastes of concentrated peel from apples. Alcoholic aroma. Not much taste in this one though. duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Aug 23, 2004 Barrell@GBBF04’. Not sure if a iliked this so much, full on barnyard aroma, very blue cheesy, smelly, flat mouthfeel, on the sweet side. Not sure if i liked this one, pretty full on authentic farmhouse cider, something i have to get used to. chris_o (4409), London, Greater London, England Aug 22, 2004 A farmhouse cider from an obscure Somerset producer. Although Edgar Harding’s cider turns up from time to time at festivals, I could find virtually nothing about the producer (not even a full address) on the web. This is about as authentic as it gets. The aroma has very pungent manure and barnyard character. Although described as medium, this is very austerely dry and a bit sharp, with virtually no fruit left whatsoever. I’d be interested to see what the dry version is like. Although this will not be to everyone’s taste, if you like authentic country cider, you’ll like this. I do. When you get a cider such as this, it’s easy to see where comparisons with lambic come from. From the barrel at GBBF 2004.
