The finish is relatively smooth, with no metallic or skunky or hooker assy aftertastes. That, in and of itself, is a victory for these types of beers. openwindow (67), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Feb 4, 2005 Barely qualifies as a beer in my book. Bright straw color with faint hint of hops. Barely any taste to it, except in the aftertaste, which has an incredibly skunky feel to it. Know it was fresh since I had it at an exhibition the brewer was having outside the World Series in Boston. Just not very good. dolemike1 (1129), Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 16, 2004 Ehh, possibly the least offensive beer i have ever had. Light yellow, no head, sweet aroma, flavor is sweet, no bitterness, very watery. Not the worst light beer around. jtw (944), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 22, 2004 very pale clear yellow, lots of fizz. mostly corn in the nose--offsets the slight stale hops bitterness. ultra-thin body, with very little taste. kind of like a watered down pilsner. hopscotch (5534), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | May 17, 2004 Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is a litte nondescript, but is very lightly citrusy and corny. The flavor is well-balanced, although a bit corny as well. Whisper of butterscotch. Very thin. Light-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 8, 2004 For a light it doesn’t completely suck, I guess. Clear light gold. Nose grassy, malts are there and it’s certainly not overpowered by any adjuncts. Flavor is clean and crisp, mildly malty, no real hops. Not much flavor, but it isn’t actively nasty in any way. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Apr 19, 2004 Terrible beer, and over-advertised. Had a disappointing sickly aftertaste, no improvment or "reinvention" over regular light beers, and possessing more caustic flavors. Undeserving of a clear bottle. Undeserving, perhaps, of a third sip. BennyTicklez (621), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2004 Good for a light beer. This beer was your typical light beer, with a little more flavor and less nasty aftertaste. If you are a light beer drinker it's worth a shot, otherwise, leave it be!
