| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 1, 2003 Clear weak yellow body topped by small white head that dissipates rapidly. Aroma is minimally malty, and otherwise nondescript (or is it non-existent?) -- at least it isn't offensive. Taste is sweet, lightly malty, no bitterness to speak of. Finishes with a mild astringency. Watery, but not as bad as you'd expect with a light beer. Despite the fact that it's pretty decent for the style, I can't say it deserves any higher a rating than I'm giving it. hopscotch (5504), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | May 17, 2004 Clear, light yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is a litte nondescript, but is very lightly citrusy and corny. The flavor is well-balanced, although a bit corny as well. Whisper of butterscotch. Very thin. Light-bodied with an astringent mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. Cletus (5056), Connecticut, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Another pale lager contract brewed by Matt Brewing? You Betcha! This one is actually not bad. Some sweetness and some citrussy elements are there on the nose and flavor wise. Cornfield (4954), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 31, 2005 Yellow with a slender creamy head, decent carbonation. Smells like sugary malt with the "necessary" corn syrup. Watery with a light, light malt flavor and no sign of hops. A nice beer to finish. Then not repeat.

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Straw color with a diminishing somewhat fizzy looking white head. Cooked green vegetable aromas, some chard and peas come to mind. some grains and a touch of alcohol is also caught. At least it is faint enough so not to be that offensive. Some light sugary sweetness. Not malty more like powdered sugar with a touch of dried flowers and grass. Very vapid and irritatingly insipid. Tmoney99 (4765), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 5, 2006 Bottle from Trader Joe’s. Clear amber color with a moderate white head that diminished quickly. Average grainy hop aroma. Light body with a watery texture. Light grainy flavor with a short finish. Weak drinkable light brew. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 17, 2005 A good lawnmower beer. Gold color, with hopcit aroma and taste. The finish is relatively smooth, with no metallic or skunky or hooker assy aftertastes. That, in and of itself, is a victory for these types of beers. bhensonb (4337), Woodland, California, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/20 | Jul 5, 2007 Nice nose. Resembles Newcastle Brown. Brassy golden color with a diminishing white head. A bit fizzy. Thin to medium bodied. Sort of a caramelly flavor, but not too sweet. The finish is balanced caramel and bitter. Still makes me think a bit of Newcastle Brown - very, very, light (and lagery) version.
