| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 29, 2009 Thin white head of fine bubbles from a vigorous pour. Dissipates quickly. Light fruity aroma with some grainy aromas, berries and wheat. Color is a clear dark gold. Weak tart flavor with some more berries, dry grains, and chalky wheat. Pretty weak and dry flavor. Finishes tart berries and dry grains. Not a very good beer. michael-pollack (2665), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 8, 2009 12oz. Bottle: Aroma of slight wheat, berries, and artificial sweetener.
Poured yellow/straw in color with a large, creamy, white head that diminished quickly but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Barely sparkling. Full of tiny particles throughout. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes of berries, black berries, grains, artificial sweetener, and wheat. Light to medium body. Tingly texture. Average to lively carbonation. Grain, wheat, blackberry, and artificial sweetener finish is slightly dry. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 1, 2009 Serving: 12 oz. bottle.
Appearance: Hazy, deep gold color with a foamy, white head. The head subsides relatively quickly with no lacing left behind.
Aroma: Berry wheat nose with notes of paper, raspberry, blackberry, and a touch of earth.
Flavor: Light on the tongue with a berry wheat flavor. Some fruit juice sweetness, slight stale wheat notes, and a bit papery. Very underwhelming.
Palate: Dry and coating on the tongue. Medium-high, prickly carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a clean, short finish.
Overall: This one came across as a bit artificial for me. Not bad for a summer day I suppose. Too bad it’s fall. Not recommended. hayduke (1647), Eureka, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2009 From a 22 oz bottle this poured a golden yellow with a moderate white head and light lacing rings. Nose is wheat and what I assume is the Acai Berry. Kind a light and fizzy mouthfeel.. Flavor is very mild and the same wheat and berry found in the aroma. The finish is a big hint of, well, nothing. While this is a local brewery, and I wish I have nicer thing to say, overall this is not a very enjoyable beer. JuStuka (187), Edo De Mex, Mexico

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 6, 2009 Bottled. Pours pale yellow gold. No head, almost like a weird lack of color. Nose is moptly wheat malt and seltzer fruity notes. Mostly faint wheat flavors, sweet fruity seltzery sweetness. Super watery fizzy body. Not much going with this, and I am a fan of acai berries. Do a better job next time eh? nickd717 (1344), Palo Alto, California, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Oct 3, 2009 Bottle shared by largadeer on BA in a quest for the worst beer ever tasting. Wow, Eel River, WTF? Is this really a beer? This is basically the acai berry version of what I’d expect Bud Select 55 to taste like. Pours a clear, watery golden-yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very light with butter and light fruit juice. Flavor is mild acai berry, seltzer water, just a touch of wheat, and butter. Palate is almost exactly like Fruit2O or some other carbonated fruit water. Hey, at least it’s drinkable. Good way to hydrate.
