Cloudy pale straw. Faint acai nose with doughy malts. Faint fruity taste. A throwback to the lame fruit beers of the mid-90s.

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of fruit loops (or other sugar fruit flavored cereal), wheat, and light citrus. Flavor of strawberries, other berries, wheat, and light honey. I assume they threw in an acai blend with other fruits, as it appears there is more than acai for the fruit flavoring.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of fruit juice. Tastes of wheat and fruit punch.

Bomber from Sam’s in Downers Grove, IL: This pours a clear golden body with a short white head and leaves no lacing. The aroma has a bready base smothered by a fruitiness that seems like a blending of strawberry and (yuck!) blueberry... which is the acai berries, I s’pose. The flavor lightens up a bit on the fruit and allows more bread and honey to come through. Not too bad.

Funny guys, put a twist-off marked cap on a no twist-off bottle. Very light straw color with a wispy, foamy, dissipating white head. LIght berry and hint of wheat aromas. Not a bad scent just not much there. Berries in the front. Somewhat fizzy in feel. Drys out until there is just a bit of quinine on the tongue in the finish. A touch citric. Has some berliner weisse qualities, but I don’t know that that was intended.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A sweet berry aroma, pungeant and strong. In mouth, a sweetish and acidic ale with bleuberry notes. A soso fruit beer. On tap at Russian River Beer and BBQ Revival, August 15 2009.

Bottle from Nugget Market in Davis, CA. Hazy golden color with a transient white head. Smells like dark berries. Near medium body with frothy carbonation. The berry flavor is strong, and there’s wheat. Tends toward dry. It’s ok. Seems a summer beer.
