The aroma had a smooth bourbon scent with nice vanilla notes. The malt had some sweetness to it. The flavor was of bourbon and fruity malt. There was some tartness to it that didn’t really match up. Warming in the chest. BeerandBlues2 (3209), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. jimbowood (953), Athens, Georgia, USA

Big sweet bourbon and vanilla aroma hints of butter & toffee, definite barreling in the aroma. Thin palate w/ a heavy after burn. Overly alcoholic front bourbon and butter covers the beer. This is a case of barreling ruining a beer.
